Singer-songwriter LL. White once again delivers thought-provoking lyrics founded on biblical principles and driven by her trademark blend of beats from Africa, the Caribbean, and urban streets – to the church.  Recurring themes of ‘joy,’ and ‘God as the source of  strength’ aim to uplift during these challenging times which some, including this writer, find more difficult to bear with each passing hour. Listeners will identify with the vulnerability of “The Cornerstone (Akrogóniaios),” dance to the declaration “Dwell (Strong and Mighty) and quickly sing along with “Count it Great Joy.”

It was anything but a typical summer's day on June 8, 2021. Needing good news amid the COVID-19 pandemic, singer-songwriter LL. White surfed channels and paused just in time to see Jane Marczewski step onto the stage. She maintained grace as she was grilled by Judge Howie Mandel. Something extaordinary connected as she unveiled her story and struggle in the song "It’s OK." Jane, known professionally as Nightbirde, was awarded Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer, only to withdraw from the competition before her next appearance. The following year, on February 19, the world would lose a great light. This project, "In Memoriam Nightbirde, seeks to remember that she was more than a voice, and more than words or melodies. She showed us the beauty and good to which we all should attain. #peace #joy #light #kindness #remember #fearGod "Song for Nightbirde" Words and Music by LL. White, c.2025, Beglorifiedmusic BMI
